Food industry is very competitive – from a perspective of market share as well as pricing. Especially for growth stage companies, for their successful survival in this market place, it is extremely important to understand the competitive landscape precisely. The CI has to provide data about anything and everything about a company’s competitors – their businesses, their movements, and their strategies.
Legeligence worked very closely with a food products company to provide competitive intelligence. As a part of this project, we identified competitors, selected areas of interest to verify competitors’ digital footprints, gathered comprehensive intel, created a competitive analysis and provided the analysis and actionables that changed the business strategy completely.
Legeligence used various primary and secondary intel gathering techniques including competitor websites, annual reports, premium databases, analyst reports, primary research including mystery shopping, our market connections, social media platforms and online forums.
